Dreamlist Thursdays!! 1/12

Heyy lovers, it's time for another Dreamlist Thursday!!!!!!!!!!! :):) This has been a great week for me in shoes!! I purchased both pairs of the JC Damsels that I've been drooling over and daydreaming about for the past couple months!! And Solestruck released the JC Rockstar in two more awesome colors!!!! This week I've definitely been on cloud nine..until I came down with this awful cold..I spent most of today in bed snuggled up trying to beat this cold :( I even had to call out of work because I feel so miserable...I definitely wasn't planning on missing out on any money this week but my health comes first!!..I don't feel much better now than I did earlier..and tomorrow I'm in for a double :( ..BUT on a brighter note atleast I had some time today to do a little more dreamlisting! So without further ado I present to you my Dreamlist for this week!!

First up on my dreamlist this week is the Rockstar!!!!!! Of Course!!..
This shoe would be like sex on my feet..it is just orgasmic it is so awesome!! I loved the Rockstar in the gold multi but the black multi takes this shoe to a whole new level!! I love how the leather, suede, and patent blacks interact with each other on the shoe..it makes it so much more interesting that just an ordinary black shoe. This shoe commands attention and the heel (or lack thereof) makes this shoe worth every bit of the pricetag! The other thing I love about this shoe is that it has the capability of being a staple shoe..it is versatile and can go with many different looks!! I could definitely go on about this shoe foreverrrrrrrrr so I'll stop now...ahhhh daydreaming until I have you in my hands Rockstar!!

Second up is the Jeffrey Campbell Lita, the Lita is the gift that keeps on giving! No matter how many colors or style variations they release the Lita in they always incite excitement within me! Especially these!! These just look so sweet, innocent, and pure..so me..I'm obviously all of those traits so this shoe MUST be mine! haha..okay so maybe I'm not so innocent but this shoe would still be a killer piece in my collection..The only thing that scares me about this shoe is the white fabric..oh irony, what I love is also kind of what I hate..I love how the white fabric looks aesthetically but when it comes to functionality I'm afaid that if I dropped a bit of ketchup from a fry on these, my shoe would be ruined forever!! Oh well atleast in my daydreams they'll stay perfectly white and beautiful forever..so maybe in my daydreams they shall stay! LoL.

This lovely sandal to the right is the Jeffrey Campbell Tawny!! I don't know where to begin on describing all that I love about this shoe!! I think that this shoe combines the perfect balance of sweet and edgy..the spikes on this beautiful shoe aren't at all overwhelming..nothing worse than an overload of spikes on a beautiful shoe..also I love the laceup front and the shape of the heel..all of the elements of this shoe add up to make it possibly one of the hottest sandals from Jeffrey Campbell of 2012, in my opinion of course!..I absolutely adore this shoe!

Okay I don't know what ya'll think about these but I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are the Jeffrey Campbell Spike in denim..yes I have the Jeffrey Campbell Spike in black leather but these shoes fall at the opposite end of the spectrum..while the black leather is AMAZING these shoes to me are amazing too in their own right..but in a more subtle soft way than their leather counterparts..I don't know why I haven't bought them yet..but I actually may purchase these before I purchase my Rockstars!! I LOVE this shoe..I need this shoe for the spring/summer! I can see this being my staple shoe of 2012! I could wear it with anything and it'll look perfect. I love how smooth the denim looks against the roughness of the spikes! This shoe is what dreams are made of!! I think I'm in love....seriously..

Holy Spikes!

Arguably one of the hottest shoes of the season is the Jeffrey Campbell Spike! SOLD OUT reads above it on just about every site it's sold on.

I, like many others, have also fell captive to it's edgy charm. I knew they were sold out all over so I didn't spend much time searching for this shoe rather I stumbled upon this one by pure luck. On Facebook I happened to be browsing through Jeffrey Campbell SHoes page one day and saw that JildorShoes had commented stating they had just restocked the Spikes! I rushed over to their site and purchased them and voila it was done!!

These beauties arrived to my house 2 days later!! Thank you Jildor.

These shoes live up to all expectations! The leather on this shoe is beautiful soft black leather and the spikes are like mini daggers. Unlike most shoes where the spikes are rounded off these spikes are quite sharp so don't grab them by the back when picking them up. I know I read a review that said that the spikes fell off easily, however, I believe that statement is false. I've worn these shoes out on multiple occasions and I've yet to have a spike fall off when rubbing up against anything (and I have)..so I don't know what they did to the poor shoes to make the spikes come off but it's definitely not something that would happen easily.. However, if one did I wouldn't worry because these shoes actually come with a mini bag full of additional spikes...how awesome is that?!! :)

FIT: TRUE TO SIZE .....I ordered these a 1/2 size up since all of my Litas are a 9 and fit perfectly I figured this would too. WRONG. These shoes fit true to size so if your true size is an 8 1/2 get the 1/2 size don't size up or down. The 9s are kind of big on me but I shall deal with it because I love the shoe and I hate doing returns.

Where to get the best shoes from is like sharing your great grandmother's recipe ..it's just something most people will keep to themselves..and only share with the people most closest to them if that.

Welcome to my inner circle of friends. Today I will be sharing with you all the best websites to purchase shoes from online and the quality of service I have received from the websites I've purchased from. 

www.NastyGal.com this website is definitely my favorite. It is the website I site stalk everyday to see if they put out any new shoes or clothes. In my opinion, they have the best selection of both unique clothes and shoes. They can be a bit pricey, but with fashion that can be expected sometimes. The quality of service from this website is also superb. Not only do they keep you updated throughout the shipping process, they send it nicely packaged enclosed with a thank you note inside. The billing process with them is a bit tricky. They will charge you when you purchase it by putting a hold on your account to ensure the funds are available for the item that your purchased. Then after it ships they will withdraw the money from your account. SO if you notice that your item was shipped and your money is still in your account don't be alarmed (or excited thinking they slipped up and sent it for free) they will be withdrawing the money after it ships. You are not going to be double-charged. Personally I like this billing technique by NastyGal because I can have the money in my account for the shoes on Tuesday when I purchase it but they may not actually take it out til Friday.. so I know I have time in between to build my money back from what I spent. Hope I'm not confusing you all. I've made multiple purchases from this site. 

www.Jildorshoes.com I purchased my Jeffrey Campbell Spikes from this website. I must admit the service with this website from my personal experience was a bit rocky but in the end all's well that end's well because I got my shoes. The story with them is I purchased the shoes, received a confirmation email from them, then shortly after I received an email saying that the shoe I purchased was out of stock and they would refund my money, then shortly after that I received a third email stating that the shoes were in stock but they didn't receive my credit card information....upon checking my account and seeing that the funds had already been withdrawn..I emailed them back and told them they had already charged me. And the next day literally the shoes were on my doorstep. Maybe it was the holiday chaos that had them so confused but I won't fault them for that. I would definitely order from them again. They are located in New York, so the shoes came to my house extremely fast, which I loved. This store also has some of the best packaging I've seen. The box, is not an ordinary brown box, it is white with Jildor printed in blue all over and the shipping tape had their brand on it as well. It was very nice. I appreciate when companies do small things like that. The shoes within the box was also very nicely packaged. I was very pleased with my purchase from them. Despite the misunderstandings, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great shoe. They have quite a large variety of a lot of shoe brands from Tory Burch and Sam Edelman to Jeffrey Campbell shoes.


www.UrbanOutfitters.com In the beginning I was almost as in love with this website as I was with NastyGal until I made a purchase. The first thing that I didn't like was the tracking email they sent me. With NastyGal you clink on the link in the email and you're automatically seeing where your shoes are. However, with UO the email they send you is just a basic link and when you get to the site you have to manually type (or copy & paste) the tracking number in. This in itself was not a major problem however still to me took away from the overally quality of service in comparison to other companies. Once the shoes arrived at my home I noticed that the box the shipped it in was very large. When I opened it the shoe box inside was open and one of the Cosmic Litas had fallen out. I was very upset with this for 2 obvious reasons, #1 being that UO charges more for their shoes/clothes on their website than most other websites do so they should be able to take the time to properly ship the items out. #2 being their was no thank you note inside :( ...Aside from the poor shipping that they have--they are also overpriced on most of their clothes and shoes. For the same pair of shoes you'd find on Nasty Gal for 170.oo you would find on UO for 185.00. I don't mind shopping at UO, it just remains to be my last resort.

www.Nordstrom.com if you haven't shopped here then what are you waiting for? Their name speaks for themselves and they have always lived up to the standard of service they have set. This is one of my favorite places for shopping for shoes for both myself and my daughter.

www.Singer22.com - is pricey but has a great selection of fashionable clothes/shoes!! ..You know a website is pricey when it only has coupons for orders of $500.00 or more lol.


www.RevolveClothing.com - I must admit I only check out this site when every other site is sold out of a particular item I'm searching for. They are a bit on the pricey side but they do have a large variety of Jeffrey Campbell Shoes and some great clothes.


www.ShopRuche.com -has some really great clothes shoes with more of a retro feel to it


www.ModCloth.com - I love this site, it screams RONI! (my fellow fashionista) Everything I see on this site reminds me of her....check out her blog here! .. I love many of the dresses and shoes they offer!! It definitely is on my daily list of sites I check up on.

www.Lulus.com - has the best selection I've seen on any website for shoes under $100.00, They also sell Jeffrey Campbell shoes at a great price.


www.Solestruck.com -this website is quickly rising to the top of my list! Right alongside NastyGal! For me what makes this shoe website standout from all the rest is not only all of the amazing brands they carry but the prices are some of the most reasonable you'll find!! I also love that if a shoe is out of stock you can request to be notified when it comes back in stock, and they actually notify you!! ...I've requested on various sites to be notified if a shoe comes back in stock but either it never does or they just don't notify me..but Solestruck restocks daily :) and it's best to ask for that notification because they sell out pretty quick! .............Actually just last night I made a purchase from them because they sent me a notification that a shoe (I'd been searching for since October) had been restocked, yay!!!!!!! *Big hugs to Solestruck* I highly recommend this website to all shoe lovers!

www.KarmaLoop.com - I like this website because they have something for everyone. No matter what your personal style is you're sure to find an item you love on this site. They cater more to urban edgier styles but I love it. If you haven't checked them out yet, you must! Go ahead, click the link!! :)

From Another Galaxy - Cosmic Lita

These are my Cosmos, the Jeffrey Campbell Cosmic Lita, every time I wear them I feel like the girl personified from the song I posted above. These are the Jeffrey Campbell shoes I wear most often. I love how the colors in the shoe play off of one another and they coordinate well with many other colors. The deep purple shoe laces in the front are especially pretty and bring s out the vibrancy of the shoe more than the normal black (or white) shoe strings would have. The deep purple shoe laces are standard on all of the cosmos, thanks Jeffrey Campbell for your impeccable styling :) ...........I must admit though for me these shoes for me were NOT love at first sight as most of my shoes are. I thought they were too out there and I couldn't picture them fitting into my wardrobe. However, after months of seeing them on various websites I'd find myself daydreaming about outfits with these shoes on my feet. I knew I had to have them. Pursuing Daydreams* At this time they were sold out on both Nasty Gal and Solestruck so I had to go to my last resort for Jeffrey Campbell Shoes, Urban Outfitters. They were my last resort at that time because they always charge higher prices for Jeffrey Campbell Shoes than every other website. Now I have even more reasons that I don't like ordering from Urban Outfitters online. I'll share that with you in another post. But the best thing about ordering from Urban Outfitters was that they had a great coupon code in November which is why I love shopping during the holidays so I got a decent amount off of the shoe.

These shoes definitely live up to the name and high standard of quality that all Jeffrey Campbell Shoes have. They are extremely comfortable. Despite the big platform, these shoes are very light on your feet. They fit true to size. Although if you're a 1/2 size I recommend sizing up not down. The only minor complaint I have about these is the actual cosmic design on the shoe is not as clear as I thought it would be. It's not pixelated...it's just looks like a photo that someone zoomed too far in on. It is not as bad as some reviewers suggest though. I don't feel it took away from the shoe significantly, it just wasn't what I was expecting it to look like. So consider yourself warned. They are a very steady shoe, they don't rock at the toe like some heels do when you walk and they aren't slippery..they aren't slip resistant but you won't be sliding around either. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my cosmos and I get so many compliments when wearing these out. Everytime I wear these out multiple people stop me and ask to take pictures. Beware of paparazzi in these shoes.

Love At First Sight - Multi Glitter Lita

I've always had an admiration for Jeffrey Campbell Shoes but like most women, I was unsure about spending over 150.00 on a pair of shoes I wasn't even going to be able to try on. I searched all over the internet reading reviews on the fit, comfort, and overall experience people had about Jeffrey Campbell Shoes. I first saw this beautiful pair of JCs in December 2010 I  searched EVERYWHERE for this shoe and I couldn't find it in my size ANYWHERE. I spent almost a year daydreaming about these shoes and finally, like a gift from Santa himself, in November 2011 when I saw them available on my favorite shopping website I just had to purchase them. Behold my first pair of JCs purchased from my favorite website NastyGal!! These are the Jeffrey Campbell Multi Glitter Litas (not to be confused with the Pewter Glitter Litas) and OMG'ness they are even more amazing than I imagined they would be. *Daydream Realized*

I am a size 8 1/2 or 9 depending on the fit of the shoe. I would say this shoe fits pretty true to size. I did purchase mine in a size 9 in case I want to wear socks. They are incredibly light despite the size of the platform and they are also very comfortable.They feel like a dream on your feet. They actually give me the feeling of walking in sneakers, as far as comfort goes...& If I were to go anywhere where I'd know I'd be on my feet all day these would definitely be my go to shoes. I must admit I'm paranoid that the glitter will rub off and I'll have bare spots on my shoe but that definitely hasn't happened despite me rubbing against things. They come in the crossword puzzle Jeffrey Campbell box with each shoe enclosed in a dust bag which definitely helps preserve these wonderful shoes. As I mentioned above I purchased these from NastyGal, I believe I payed about $165.00 for this pair.
